Our Push to Pour dispensing increases the speed of service and revenue during the busiest service periods. Our connected devices record all events and syncs with the cloud to provide valuable real-time analytics and remote administration capabilities to our customers.

 

Who We Need:

We could use some help! We are currently recruiting a Sestra Field Operations Technician to build, assemble, stage, install and support Sestra’s IOT beverage dispensing solution. We are looking for fast learners and versatile individuals who want the excitement that only a start-up can provide. This position includes hardware manufacture/assembly and software support including installations in bars, restaurants, and stadiums throughout North America. As a Field Operations Technician, you will be a critical member of the organization supporting our customers’ 24/7 operations.

  • Can you do a 5-minute plank, bake, eat 10 slices of pizza? (In fairness, many of us can’t do any of these, but it should be noted that some of us definitely can).

 

What You Would Do:

  • Pre-Sales Support:
    • Provide pre-installation sales support and complete physical site surveys with complete and accurate information
    • Make recommendations for successful and cost-effective installations
  • Maintenance and Line Cleaning:
    • Perform station quarterly maintenance consisting of:
      • Product line cleaning
      • Software updates
      • Hardware upgrades
      • Complete quality checks
    • Troubleshooting of customer issues
    • Documentation of new onsite issues
  • Construction, Assembly and Onsite Installation:
    • Build Sestra mobile carts and cabinets
    • Build pour control systems, production kits and assemblies
    • Stage, test, install, and handover working solution to the customer
    • Provide customer training to cover overall system operation including:
      • How to use Sestra’s TapWise system
      • Common customer issues and basic troubleshooting
      • Support the Sestra inventory process
      • Source, order and pick up supplies and parts as needed
    • Dispatch, Shift Schedule, and Triage Support:
      • Sestra Field Technicians' work schedule varies regularly to accommodate Sestra Customers and fluctuates based on seasonality and needs of Sestra Customers. Schedules are as follows:
        • Daily: 9:00 AM to 6:00PM (most common)
        • Night Shift: 12:00PM to 9:00PM (rotating – not fixed)
        • Weekend Shift: 12:00PM to 9:00PM (rotating – not fixed)
        • Overnight Shift: As needed
      • Participate in the off-hours on-call rotation (holidays & weekend backup) including same day and next day dispatch when required
      • Territory is nationwide and may include automotive, train, or air travel as needed
    • Customer Satisfaction:
      • Execute quality assurance checks and follow checklists
      • Be professional, knowledgeable and welcoming to all customers and partners
      • Be respectful of the customers time and show urgency as needed
    • General:
      • Maintain spares, assigned tools and other equipment in good working order
      • Innovate solutions. Improve methods and designs. Provide feedback. Be creative
      • Maintain a clean workspace in the office and at customer sites
      • Ensure that each time you leave a customer site you have reviewed each aspect of the station (beyond the reason for your visit), reported troubles, and left station beautifully cleaned and in working condition.
      • Follow the operations dress code for onsite visits
      • Maintain a positive, professional and respectful attitude at all times
      • Obtain and maintain forklift certification (via Sestra)
      • Facilities maintenance as needed
      • Prepare and process outgoing shipments including all packaging and paperwork
      • Successfully complete other duties as assigned.

 

Qualities We Are Looking For:

  • Customer service experience and/or customer mindset is crucial
  • Experience with troubleshooting issues on customer sites and venues
  • Experience with power tools, building or construction, and finding solutions to unique installations with tight deadlines
  • Basic understanding of IT (networking), command line Interfaces, and IoT devices
