Technical Support (part-time variable hours to include weekdays, nights & weekends)

Sestra is looking for a Technical Support staff member responsible for maintaining & driving technical and operational assistance for some of our largest & most strategic customers. You will become a welcomed regular at MLB & MLS stadiums & other venues across the DMV, on-site to manage & ensure customer connectivity & success. This role will require you to work on a variable schedule to include some nights and weekends, during peak customer hours. This hands-on part-time role will report to the Director of Operations & is based primarily at customer venues in DC and Virginia. You will help support & drive the success of Sestra’s Smart Dispensing solutions at stadiums, hotels, restaurants & more. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Gain a holistic understanding of the customer venue & its equipment in order to best assist with on-site support, station maintenance & routine line cleaning
  • Become knowledgeable about common venue specific pain points and be proactive about identifying issues before they arise, wherever possible
  • Keep up to date with company-wide upgrades and alerts, paying close attention to announcements relevant or applicable to your assigned

  • Help to ensure proper technical setup for equipment & monitor connectivity of Sestra devices to maximize use of our equipment at each event

  • Pick up, drop off and transfer supplies and parts when necessary, as instructed
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders at the customer site, earning their trust by knowing they can count on you to support them & their teams
  • Function as a frontline technical resource for on-site support and best practices, while ensuring speedy resolution of customer issues
  • Provide IT support, troubleshooting & guidance to customers, including on the job training for customer staff and issue resolution, as needed
  • Support customer health by ensuring that installation upgrades are current, keeping an eye out for potential updates, improvements or expansion opportunities

Qualifications/Key Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile transportation (with insurance coverage)
  • Must be willing to work at customer venue during service hours, including nights & weekends
  • Customer service oriented & believe in teamwork, collaboration & adaptability
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment (PCS, chillers, carts & tables)
  • Ability and skill to operate power and hand tools efficiently and safely
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability and willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor locations in various temperature zones
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
